Terms and Conditions For Clients of Niya Sohan Roy

1. Agreement to Terms

By booking and attending sessions with Niya Sohan Roy ("the Therapist"), you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions. These terms apply to all services provided, including consultations, therapy sessions, workshops, and programs.

2. Nature of Services

The services offered by the Therapist include therapeutic coaching, clinical hypnotherapy, graphology-based insight, and related holistic modalities. These services are intended for personal development and emotional support and are not a substitute for medically licensed psychological, psychiatric, or medical diagnosis or treatment.

The Therapist does not offer crisis intervention, nor prescribe or manage medications. Clients with severe mental health concerns are encouraged to seek help from medically licensed professionals or emergency services.

3. Client Responsibility

Clients are fully responsible for their own actions, decisions, and results following sessions. The Therapist provides guidance, tools, and techniques to support your mental health journey; however, the implementation and outcomes depend solely on the client.

Clients acknowledge they are mentally and emotionally stable enough to undertake these services and assume full responsibility for their participation and outcomes.

4. Confidentiality

All information shared during sessions is treated with strict confidentiality and in accordance with ethical practice standards. Confidentiality may be breached only where required by UAE law (e.g., risk of harm to self or others, abuse, or legal orders).

If sessions are conducted online, the client is responsible for ensuring their own privacy and confidentiality in their environment.

5. Payment Policy

All fees must be paid in full before the session or program begins. Payment confirms your booking and secures your spot. Accepted payment methods include bank transfers or online payment gateways. Receipts can be provided upon request.

6. No Refunds

Fees paid for sessions, programs, or workshops are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Exceptions may be made at the sole discretion of the Therapist in rare, documented situations such as medical emergencies. Any approved refund will be subject to administrative fees.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Clients must provide at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule a session. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of that session and its associated fee.

One complimentary reschedule is permitted per session. Additional last-minute rescheduling may incur fees or result in the session being forfeited. Repeated cancellations may lead to discontinuation of services.

The Therapist reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances, with prior notice provided to the client.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Therapist does not guarantee specific results or outcomes. Services provided are meant to support the client’s self-led journey.

To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, the Therapist shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use or interpretation of services.

9. Suitability of Services

These services are designed for individuals ready to commit to their personal growth journey. The Therapist reserves the right to decline or discontinue services to individuals whose needs fall outside the scope of practice, or whose participation is deemed unproductive or misaligned.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

Any disputes arising from the services will first attempt mediation and, if unresolved, will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dubai, UAE.

11. Informed Consent & Agreement

By booking and attending any session or program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to these terms and conditions. You give informed consent to receive the services offered by the Therapist.

12. Recordings and Use of Data

Sessions may not be recorded by either party without prior written consent. Any testimonials, feedback, or case studies used for educational or promotional purposes will be anonymized unless explicit written permission is provided.

13. Termination of Services

Either the client or the Therapist may discontinue services at any time, with written notice. Unused sessions in prepaid packages will be subject to the refund and expiration policy outlined in these terms.

14. Prepaid Package Expiry Policy

Prepaid packages must be used within three (3) months from the date of purchase. After this period, unused sessions will be forfeited and are non-refundable.
