From Building Ships to Rebuilding Lives

About Me

Hey, I’m Nivedya Sohan roy aka NIYA like how my parents call me, once a naval architect designing vessels, now a therapist helping women rebuild their emotional foundations and take charge of their lives.

Not the most linear career path, I know. I went from drafting ship hulls to decoding human behavior. My first big role was in my family’s company, Aries Marine Engineering Services, where I proudly wore the title of Chief Happiness Officerand HR representative. The irony? I was anything but happy.

While I helped fix systems at work, my own internal system was breaking down. Enter: a surprise guest called autoimmune psoriasis. Every dermatologist gave me the same script: “You’ll have to live with this.” I didn’t love that answer, so I went looking for a better one.

The Plot Twist: Healing Myself (Against the Odds)

I started exploring plant medicine and clinical hypnotherapy—more out of curiosity than belief. But three months later, my skin was clear. What changed wasn’t just physical. It was a complete overhaul of how I thought, felt, and lived.

Turns out, my body was never the problem. It was simply carrying the weight of:

  • unresolved trauma

  • complicated family dynamics

  • and working a job that drained my soul

The moment I started working with my subconscious mind, aligning emotionally, and taking actions that actually felt true to me... my health changed. My relationships shifted. My career did a 180. I realized that healing isn't just about feeling better—it's about coming back to who you were before the world told you who to be.

So What Do I Do Now?

These days, I wear a few hats—and they all fit surprisingly well.

I’m the co-founder of a dental and aesthetic polyclinic in Dubai, as well as a health tourism company that connects people to trusted wellness solutions across borders. Both are built around the belief that healing should be holistic, accessible, and rooted in integrity.

Alongside that, I run my own private practice where I help women not just heal—but lead.

I’m now one of the leading therapists in Dubai, and proud to be among the youngest in the world to hold a professional doctorate in Clinical Hypnotherapy. Over the years, I’ve trained in a whole ecosystem of modalities that dive deep into the subconscious mind, trauma resolution, generational patterns, and emotional clarity.

Basically, I help women untangle their inner chaos and turn it into confidence.

I work with women who are:

Healing From Betrayal, Heartbreak, Or Relational Trauma

Ready To Stop Surviving And Start Self-leading

Curious About Becoming A Mental Health Coach, Hypnotherapist, Or Graphologist

Already In The Wellness Space And Looking For Honest, No-fluff Business Mentorship That Actually Works

My approach is trauma-informed, neuroscience-backed, and deeply practical. And yes—there’s room for humor, healing tears, and the occasional "aha" moment that changes everything.

What I Actually Believe (Not Just Instagram Quotes)

I believe healing isn’t a side hustle. It’s your foundation.
I believe that when you truly understand your subconscious, you stop repeating cycles and start choosing your life on purpose.
I believe that confidence isn’t something you’re born with—it’s something you rebuild.

Most of all, I believe that once you trust yourself again—really trust yourself—everything starts to shift. You stop chasing people. You stop settling. You stop second-guessing. You start leading.

So whether you’re here to heal, to grow your practice, or to become the kind of woman you’ve always known you could be—I’m here for it.

Let’s get to work.
